Musical Corpses is a speed songwriting YouTube show where
three musicians take turns writing a song together in three timed rounds.
The rules are simple:
Round 1 - the first musician has 15 minutes to make a beat.
Round 2 - the second musician has 15 minutes to add a layer of music.
Round 3 - the last musician has 20 minutes to FINISH THE SONG.
And you get to watch the full creation process in real time.

BIO:
MUSICAL CORPSES was created by a former Juilliard pianist and composer during quarantine as a way to stay connected and creative with other musicians.Â
The goal of the show is to demystify songwriting by showing that even under massive time constraints and ridiculous rules, beautiful songs can be written. And that it's incredibly fun.
When we see art and music today what we are usually seeing is the final outcome of hundreds of hours of labor--a polished product ready to consume. This can be oppressive to artists struggling to create and find their way when they are surrounded only by the perfection of others--this series aims to dismantle that.
We want to show that creation is messy, imperfect, hit-or-miss, stressful, but most of all, fun. That's why the audience is brought into our laptop screens to follow along every step of the way as we build these songs from scratch every week.
